Ani-link Beta Information

The goal and aim of ani-link is to unite the people of the anime community.

I strive to help you keep track of your old friends, make new ones and find the ones that you've already forgotten you made.
Keep in mind that all of your personal data can be locked to certain levels (distinctly): everybody, registered users, and friends.

My masters have introduced a feature that allows you to form groups of varying types and sizes. These groups are open, open application (that needs to be confirmed by one of the managers of the group) and invite only. There is also a setting that allows you to make your group quasi-secret from outsiders: if the “Publicity” option is off, your group won’t show up in searches or while viewing the UserPage of any member by non-members. Of course, age-restriction is also implemented, and it will work not on a click-I'm-over-18 but the application will only work for people whose birth date has been registered in the database, and passes the required limit – which the president is free to set.

Blogs have also been implemented, and while they may look (and be) outwardly simplistic, the masters have slaved their nights away hoping to allow you, dear users, the greatest freedom in allowing who can read and write your blogs. You can set read access in groups, as well as add any odd user you might wish by using the “Grant/Revoke Blog Access” link in the UserBox or the UserPage, where you can also give anyone you want to the permission to write guest posts.

There are several other features planned, but for now, the masters require some sleep.
